The 4 Books I Picked Up at JordanCon

There are literally thousands of options to choose from when you attend a fantasy literature convention. I picked up these four books.

Scattered, Smothered, & Chunked The Complete Bubba The Monster Hunter Season 1

http://johnhartness.com

A literary story written with an overarching plot and smaller plots along the way, in the same vain as a television show, hence the “season 1.” This is the first of three seasons (books) with a fourth to come. John G. Hartness mixes the three B’s, beer, boobs and blood, in order to make a classic southern story about a monster hunter teamed up with a government agent. “It makes for a rollicking good time.”

Dragonsphere: Book One

http://www.richardfierce.com

Richard Fierce begins an epic tale in the first installment of his series about a dragon’s soul that is released when the magic on the sphere fails. Two kingdoms must come together to stop the dragon’s soul from taking a physical form, but a Prince who kills the new King, his brother, hinders them. Sorcery be damned, all hell is breaking loose.

Rites of Heirdron, Volume 1

https://aaronmichaelhall.com/2017/01/26/zrahnz-uleryn-of-rites-of-heirdron-by-newland-moon/

Newland Moon tells a politically charged story of sci-fi mixed with a beautiful romance. Zrahnz is a bastard prince and the only hope for his dying world. He must overcome the betrayals and manipulations on his planet to become the leader they need him to be, all the while feeling an irresponsible attraction to the Earth visitor, Itanya. But Itanya just might be the key to Zrahnz saving his people.

The Shadow of What Was Lost (Free with pre-registration)

http://www.jamesislington.com

In the first book of the Licanius Trilogy, James Islington tells the story of Davian and an unknown boy whose fates are intertwined. Davian wields a power that has been feared since before his birth. The boy with no name awakes with blood covering him.
